First let me state Boost has no on-line live support. Supposedly they have chat service but when you sign into your account, it takes you out of the chat service.
Our account with Boost is in good standing.
Both of our phone were purchased directly from them. Paid for both phones up front.
We have contacted telephone support to unlock one of our phones so it could be used by another carrier in another country 7000 miles away while on holiday. After a week (they said it would take 1-2 days) they tell us the phone is unlocked (though no confirming email as they state would be sent) and have closed the case. The phone is NOT unlocked.
Phone will recognize a Sprint SIM and AT&T SIM but indicates present carrier has phone locked. Subsequent calls to customer service only challenges our position the phone is still locked.
Another example of a corporate nation state screwing over the public.
After the phones are unlocked, we will be switching service providers.
Reason of review: Poor customer service.
Monetary Loss: $1000.
Preferred solution: unlock the phone(s) like the FCC requires Boost to do.
