I would love to get my Boost Mobile working. But I keep hitting roadblocks.

I wish I wouldve Googled Boost Mobile customer complaints 1st maybe I wouldnt have picked it.
Problems Out of the box:
1. Incorrect cable to transfer from Apple to iPhone
2. Instructions say to use SmartSwitch which cost money and needed the correct cable missing in #1
3. Workaround to transfer wirelessly was another paid service Google Fi Trial
4.

Was surprised SmartSwitch and Google would sign off on you telling customers to use their free trials and cancel
4. Had to purchase correct cable to complete transfer
5. Activation on phone app failed
6. Activation on web didn't work
Then the calls began.

1 - 9 all very long waits, calls lasted over an hour. And no way to get to higher support levels. They do not want to hear any history and one even told me there were no notes or ticket history to see. Boost support has ended my call without a resolution or saying goodbye every time except one.

#9 although frustrating insisting I get Google to manually verify the online documentation. But there's #10 with the email response from Google. I hate to repeat the insanity calling again, because nothing written here matter it just gets me hung up on trying to explain.
1. Problem with Porting Case# 480**** I would hear back in 2 days
2.

No call so called back after 5 days They porting department said all good, but I need a SIM sent to me.
3. SIM is here but error now says bad account number Boost Hung Up
4. Wrong SIM sent needs rainbow SIM
5. Account number is already ported and disconnected by Boost can't fix
6.

Back to Google Voice # must be wrong. I explained and offered documentation but Boost Hung Up
7. Get Boost a contact number to call Google porting, But they communicated with them back on Case#480****, again Boost disconnected
8. Customer service called I explained it all again because they said their where no notes to refer too?!?!

Sent me back to standard activation queue to start over again.
9. Go back to Google and pay the $3 (again offered supporting documentation of no charge) and have them verify all documentation EVERYWHERE is correct in stating the account # is the phone#
10. Chatted with Google for 10 mins got case# and an email the requested info for boost response below:*Successfully unlocked your Google Voice number +1717***3885 on 03-July-2024 14:17:55 PDT*No need for you to pay a $3 unlocking fee because this was a ported number. The number is NOT originally from Google Voice.*Your Account number is your 10-digit voice number.*Your Transfer PIN is your Voicemail PIN.*Boost Mobile is currently operating using the network infrastructure of AT&T or T-Mobile.

For AT&T they now require an 11-digit Account Number. To isolate this issue, kindly try to add 1 before the ten-digit Google Voice number. Let's see if it works.

TRIED BOTH 0 & 1 ON PHONE APP AND WEB. NO LUCK BACK TO BOOST :-(
I Have chatted with google using chat, I have a case number, but they say I'm configured correctly.
I WOULD LOVE TO GET TO A HIGHER-LEVEL BOOST TECH TO HELP ME AND STOP GETTING MISTERIOUSLY DICONNECTED AND PASSED OFF TO SOMEONE ELSE LIKE THE 9 TIMES LISTED ABOVE!!

My name is Melissa Caballer and 2 days ago I applied for boost infinite while I was in the checkout process I was told to call the 1-800 number that y'all list to verify your identity and I called it. I was then asked some questions to verify my identity which I did the customer service agent told me I passed the identity verification process I was approved for five lines and have a great day.

The next morning I decided that I was going to go ahead and open a line with y'all and I went online and I finished all the account and line set up and choosing the phone and playing blah blah blah. I was to get an iPhone 15 it was going to cost me $0 and I was going to have to pay for the month of service which was $60. I paid the requested $60 and everything was processed I received a email confirmation saying that everything went through and to download the boost infinite app I then received another email giving me my tracking number for UPS for my package. I downloaded the UPS app when I got my tracking number I punched it in there I put in my telephone number to get text alerts.

Everything was fine and dandy until couple of hours ago when I got a text alert that said my package was going to be delivered tomorrow and when I clicked on it and it took me to the UPS website it stated that the package was requested to be returned to the sender. Of course I was upset I called the 1-800 boost number and talked to I think eight people for over an hour the first Lady said there was some kind of error on your side and it put a hold on the account and she cleared it all up and that I needed to get the other phone reordered within two days and to make sure I'm using the same email that I am emailing you from right now. She then sent me to somebody to help me get the phone reordered they sent me to somebody else they sent me to somebody else so on and so forth I ended up with a terrible supervisor who's operator ID is as like Sam f like Frank number one she is not number one. She did not help me rather she said that once you receive the phone back the phone I never got that it would be about 3 to 10 days and I would get refunded for the money I put out.

However then I am now to order it again and pay again so that I'm out double the money and still don't have a phone and have to wait longer for a phone. I just don't see where this is fair I'm the customer and I am being put out and extremely inconvenienced and now I'm supposed to pay and I'm a single mother doesn't have another $60 to shell out for nothing, and I'm just supposed to be okay with that like everything's great here's some more money for your mistake and nobody's helping me. You are paying some manager to just basically tell me sorry those are the brakes too bad and that's it bye. Nobody has helped me I've been passed around I'm very upset I am going to contact the Better Business Bureau I believe that y'all should handle it on your end since you canceled the phone and the phone is not didn't come to me, I understand if I received the phone and you had to you weren't refunding me until I shipped it back to you but y'all are the ones who were called the package back whether it was a mistake or whatever an error I understand that I don't mind waiting an extra day for another phone but I shouldn't have to pay for another phone I'm already being inconvenient so I feel like there's an exception that needs to be made here and that there is absolutely a way to figure it out and if I'm told that it can't be figured out that I don't want service with y'all and I will make sure that I blog about it and I passed the word along about how I was treated and how y'all did not help me.

It doesn't matter how many free iPhones or free things you give somebody I'm 49 years old and I'd rather have good customer service. I wouldn't mind paying a little bit for a phone to know that somebody's going to help me with my problem when I have one especially when it's not caused by me. I'm sure you probably won't even get this email because I see you have like 50 of them so this is just a shot in the dark to complain to somebody else that's not going to help me but I figured you know from one manager to another trying to help you all out here and show you how you should do it being told basically to stick it is not not really okay it's not acceptable I'm not acceptable with not only not having any options but just basically being told this is the way it is too bad.

I think 100% wholeheartedly that somebody should be doing something to help me and make sure I get a phone whether that's calling one of the stores and saying you know what go ahead go down there go get a phone and we'll get you set up or giving me a gift card so I can whatever nobody's helping me and I definitely should be getting help!!! Why are you paying a manager, a moron all this money when a robot could tell me you'll be refunded in 10 days when we get the package back it's ludicrous this whole thing is absolutely ludicrous and it's BS is what it is.
