I canceled two lines with you all 5 days before my payment was due, and our conversation was recorded on the 27 of this month you took a payment and refused to refund me my money so disappointed I've been a loyal customer for at least 8/10yrs I only left because that's the only way to get a deal when I come back

Boost mobile is the worst company. I paid in full upfront for 2 phones.

I didn't get a contract. I prepaid each month. When I purchased these phones I specifically asked if they were unlocked. Their representative said yes, and added that these were my phones and I can go anywhere else I want at any time to a different carrier.

Impressed, I tried their service. It was great for a few months, until we moved. We now live in a different section of the city that Boost doesn't cover well. I am able to get 1 or 2 bars on average.

Yes, I watch the bars and I see it will jump to 5 bars for a second or two every so often. But this coverage is not enough to make phone calls or do most anything with data. When I talk on the phone the other person complains that they can't hear me, that I constantly cut out or the call drops.
I contacted customer service. What a waste of time.

I have spent hours trying to fix this. I have used chat. ***Caution : like most other companies that offer chat customer service, your live agent deals with multiple chat clients at one time. This means they are not devoting full attention to your issue, as they are handling multiple problems.

This just adds to poor customer service. Those people can only do so much. Then they reach a dead end and tell you to call customer service.
I did that. Yesterday I spent over an hour on the phone with 3 different agents.

The first one connected me to a technical specialist as she said the issue was over her head. The technical specialist tried the same thing the first agent did only to come to the same conclusion. Then she said she would connect me to a technical specialist who could help me. WTF???

I said the previous agent connected me to you and that this second agent was supposed to be.a technical specialist. She said she was but didn't know how to fix it. Both agents had something in common: each had very thick accents and neither could speak proper English. I spent most of the time asking them to repeat or rephrase what they said because I couldn't understand them.

When I got connected to the third hard to understand agent, I hung up in disgust.
I then tried to take my phone to a different carrier only to be told I couldn't use my phone with them as my phone was locked. Locked???!!! I paid in full for these phones and their representative said I could take them to a different carrier at any time. So I contacted customer service again only to be told they keep the phones locked for 1 year.

Even the ones you purchase and pay for in full upfront. I relayed how their representative, their local affiliate, told me I could take my unlocked phone to a different carrier at any time. Customer service said they are not responsible for what their sales agents say. WTF?!?!?!

These sales agents represent Boost, yet Boost says the agents don't represent them? Yep. That's their story. So now I have phones I can't use because Boost mobile doesn't cover my location fully.

Now they will tell you they offer 5G service at my address. Yes, they do offer it. And because I get at least 1 bar, it counts as an area of coverage. But can I use the phones?

No. Try making a call where the opposite party can't hear you, or you keep cutting out. It's almost impossible to get anything done. But does Boost care?

No. They have poorly educated technical support agents who have no clue what's going on. They hire agents from God knows where who don't speak English and have such thick accents you can't understand what they say. And their agents will outright lie to you.

Boost says they are not responsible for what these agents do.

DON'T USE BOOST MOBILE. RUN VERY QUICKLY FAR, FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I had an extra monthly charge that I called Boost about. They couldnt give me any explanation other than its from another account.

I told them only my account is linked as they said, "dispute it with your bank". Absolutely horrible service.
