Horrible customer service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I purchased a phone on 12/6/2022 the phone never worked. I tool it back once to a store owned by a private owner phone handed back told it was a network issue and did nothing.

I reached out online multiple times nothing. I spent $180 on phone and had a $130 credit I was refused refund. On 3/24/22 I went into boost store on Bechtol in Springfield Ohio the customer service representative was rude. Stating: I didn't know her!

But was polite to man in front of me it was due to my race. She refused to trouble shot phone and after I paid and had $130 credit was rude and said I can't magically give you data.

I left boost that day and immediately became a t mobile customer and lost $310 cost of phone and credit on my account. Called district manager they did nothing.

Order phone through Boost up

Boost cancelled my phone order because Boost sold me a phone they don't offer service for. It took numerous calls to customer service, where it is very difficult to reach a live representative, to finally get my bank account remembered & resolve this issue.

*** poor customer service.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Account number is not accessible online. In order to access the number I had to initiate a chat. The wait was 10 minutes. In order to provide my account number they require the amount last paid. I auto pay 57 dollars every month. Literally the only payment I make to BOOST. They said the information was not accurate and refused to give me my account number. The customer service agent was rude and patronizing. I now have to go to a BOOST store to get the nine digit number of the account that I pay for online. Basically, they are holding the info hostage so I cannot switch carriers. Avoid this service at all costs.

Very unsatisfactory resolution. I will buy a new Samsung phone and a new carrier.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Had Virgin Mobile which was purchased by Boost mobile. Had Boost Mobile until I received a notice that my phone was to obsolete on 3/31. Attempted to get the upgrade phone but after visiting multiple stores I was unsuccessful. I will now buy a new Samsung and a new carrier. I had the present phone with first Virgi Mobile and then Boost for about 3 or 4 years, whenever the takeover occurred. Total cell phone usage is17 years.

Pissed customer

Boost Mobile - Pissed customer

I called today to get my boost prepaid phone sim unlocked (on a phone I bought and paid for entirely) hence.... The word "prepaid" at walmart.

I haven't used this phone for a few good months, due to now having free service through a government service, why would I continue to pay for prepaid service from another carrier when i have it for free elsewhere. (no crap right!) So i asked for the sim unlock, and to no surprise I needed a 4 digit pin from my "MY BOOST" account. Well as the s_it storm starts, since I haven't used that account for quite a few months, guess What? I didnt remember it.

Bad news for me, the only way they can verify you is with that number. But if you go online to "MY BOOST" u can asked to reset the pin, but to no surprise thats worthless because they will not send it to an un-active phone account to your messages. She then asked when I opened my Boost account?. I then went to my walmart account, pulled up the information and it stated November 25th 2019 clearly at the top of the page.

Order # and $35 reboost card purchase by Boost records was incorrect. Then what else could i do you might ask, oh yes, could i email or message you the copy of what is on my walmart account on my screen, but no! she says that option is not available. So unless i can remember a 4 digit code, im basically screwed.

Thanks boost i will be sure to not talk you up to my 100's of family and friends, as every7 of 10 people in the USA have cell phones. Lets remind all the viewers once again my service is PREPAID. Which means, I owned the phone the first day and cannot have service unless i pay in advance. So, if i re-activate my service for $35 i can then receive a text message with my pin, so i can tell customer service what that is, so i can end my service, get my sim unlocked, ON A PHONE I OWN..

to be used with a government FREE service. How screwed up is this!!!!! I then asked to speak to her supervisor, she states my supervisor has the same access as I do! I said again, May I please speak to your supervisor, and I was hung-up on.

What a joy it has been speaking with Boost reps. Your customer service lacks professionalism and courtesy, and about a zillion other traits customer service reps should employ to be successful. And as a company a major part of you success as well. This from a life time of close to 40 years in the customer service industry as a Manager, Supervisor, Area Director, and other successful titles I have achieved through a lifetime of operating principles, that I truly believe in and developed an used throughout my career.

And made numerous positive changes in customer service with a number of businesses. phones.

Lets hope not a boost mobile plan. Oh and did I remind you, I owned the phone(PREPAID)

Dysfunctional Company

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Where do I start? DYSFUNCTIONAL COMPANY.

All I wanted to do was switch my mothers old phone to a compatible phone that will work on the new network.

The phone that my mother paid for and Boost sent never worked. I made over 14 phone calls, made 4 visits to a Boost Store, and not one representative ever resolved my mothers phone. I ended buying a new phone and opening a new account just so my mom had a phone. In all of this mayhem, Boost deducted money that was in my moms account and refused to refund or put the money back into the account.

The Boost communication is a joke. The Boost chain of support and command is dysfunctional. Boost lacks communication among its own peers and with consumers. Clearly Boost does not care about the consumer.

Shame on Boost for taking advantage of consumers and especially seniors. Boost should not even be in business.
